Job Description
The Lobby Ambassador serves as the first and last point of contact for guests entering the hotel lobby. This role is responsible for creating exceptional first impressions by warmly welcoming guests, anticipating their needs, and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. The Lobby Ambassador acts as a liaison between guests and hotel departments, delivering personalized service in alignment with the hotel’s luxury hospitality standards.
Starting Rate: $19.18
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $24.65
We have both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available. This position is not eligible for Staff Accomodations.
Job Duties Include:
Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Guest Experience
- Warmly greet all guests entering and exiting the hotel lobby.
- Recognize VIPs, repeat guests, and loyalty program members and provide personalized attention.
- Escort guests to the front desk, concierge, restaurants, or other hotel outlets as appropriate.
- Proactively engage with guests to anticipate needs and resolve requests efficiently.
- Ensure guests feel acknowledged within moments of entering the lobby.
- Actively seek to create “Make special happen moments"
Lobby Presence & Hospitality

Maintain a visible and welcoming presence in the lobby area at all times.

Monitor lobby activity and guest flow to ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience.

Provide information about hotel services, amenities, dining options, and local attractions.

Assist with special occasions such as anniversaries, celebrations, or VIP arrivals.

The role involves physical activity, including standing for extended periods, bending, and occasionally lifting items weighing up to 45 pounds.

Qualifications
Your Skills & Qualifications**:**

Ability and willingness to work a variety of shift work, including evenings/weekends/early morning

Previous experience in Front Desk or customer service an asset

Proficient in the English language (verbal & written), second language an asset

Must display strong communication, analytical, organizational and administrative skills to be able to deal with multiple priorities simultaneously

Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

Highly responsible & reliable

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team

Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
