Job Title: AS400 Developer - IBM (iSeries/AS400) Location: Brampton, ON Work Arrangement: Hybrid-2-3 Days onsite Employment Type: Contract Duration: 6-12 Months Domain: BFSI Pay Rate: CAD 45-55/hour Incorporated Application Deadline: July 15th, 2026
SKILLS REQUIRED
Strong technical expertise in IBM i (iSeries/AS400) platform with hands-on experience in RPG, RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2/400 development. Proven experience in designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise applications on IBM i/AS400 environments. Proficiency in RPG/RPGLE free-format programming, debugging, performance tuning, and application modernization initiatives. Experience with IBM i system administration concepts, job scheduling, batch processing, and production support activities. Strong understanding of DB2/400 database design, SQL, embedded SQL, and query optimization techniques.
