About the role
JOB SUMMARY The Fulfillment Associate processes, picks and packs medical supply orders with accuracy and efficiency to ensure our client gets the right medical supplies on time. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Processing and accurate picking of Medical Supply Orders. · Participated in quality improvements initiatives including any tasks assigned to them. · Pick medical supply orders. · Verify picked medical supply orders for accuracy. · Package verified orders for delivery. · Maintain adequate inventory levels in pick and pack area. · Record order substitutions and back-orders in correct manner. · Re-stocks inventory from returned depot orders. · Maintain neat and clean work area. · Maintain confidentiality of all records as laid out in YSL operating policies and procedures. · Perform any other duties that may be assigned by supervisors. · Follows established Health and Safety policies and procedures. · Other duties as required. Responsibilities Specific to Warehouse and Dex Staff are as follows:
- Willingness to work for extended periods in cold environments (walk-in coolers) while handling and packaging pharmaceutical products.
- Ability to maintain focus, attention to detail, and adherence to GMP or applicable regulatory guidelines, while working in temperature-controlled settings.
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks in cooler conditions, including the use of appropriate PPE.
QUALIFICATIONS · High School Diploma. · Organized self-starter and able to communicate well. Physical Requirements · Spends the majority of the shift on feet, including standing and walking for extended periods. · Regularly lifts, pushes, pulls, carries, or moves objects of varying weights. · Periodically required to lift up to 20 lbs. unassisted and perform bending, twisting, and reaching to move supplies or other items. · Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance and perform physical movements to handle merchandise or other items. · Interacts frequently and regularly with other team members. · Occasionally communicates with customers and external companies by phone. Work Environment · Works primarily in a warehouse setting that is climate-controlled and clean. · Required to be flexible and available to work shifts on days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Other Skills and Abilities · Familiarity with Good Manufacturing (GMP) or applicable Regulatory Guidelines, particularly regarding temperature-controlled storage and handling of pharmaceutical products (a must requirement for Warehouse and Dex employees). · Employees working in warehouse operations are required to wear and properly use all essential or required personal protective equipment (PPE) as outlined by their department leader and in accordance with the employer’s safety requirements. This obligation applies to current PPE requirements and any future revisions necessary to maintain compliance with applicable occupational health and safety legislation and regulations.
