Our client is offering a key role to an Accounting Clerk who is eager to contribute to the smooth operation of the financial activities of a growing organization. Responsibilities
- Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.
- Verify purchase orders and supporting documentation.
- Prepare payments to suppliers.
- Monitor accounts payable.
- Prepare customer invoices.
- Record incoming payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collection activities for overdue accounts.
- Prepare bank deposits.
- Enter various accounting and administrative data.
- Scan, file, and archive financial documents.
- Assist with month-end activities.
- Perform any other related duties as required.

Requirements
- DEP, AEC, or DEC in Accounting, Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in a professional services, medical, or clinical environment (an asset).
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Dynacom, or equivalent (an asset).
Salary: $45,000 to $50,000 per year
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Status: Permanent
