This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your advanced biology knowledge directly shapes how the next generation of AI understands life sciences. No AI background required — your expertise is what matters.
Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
Design challenging biology questions that rigorously test AI reasoning and scientific accuracy Develop clear, step-by-step model solutions grounded in sound scientific logic Evaluate AI-generated responses for correctness, depth, and quality of reasoning Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Masters-level biology Provide structured, actionable feedback that directly improves AI performance
Who You Are
Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field Strong command of advanced biology concepts with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Able to communicate complex scientific ideas clearly and precisely in writing Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment No prior AI experience required — we'll get you up to speed
Nice to Have
Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems Familiarity with scientific writing or academic benchmarking Background spanning multiple biology subfields (e.g., molecular biology, genetics, physiology, ecology)
