About the role
Would you like to play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and food safety? We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee activities related to quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement within a food manufacturing organization. You will serve as a key resource for operational teams, ensuring product excellence and compliance with all applicable standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop the quality team to achieve established objectives.
- Plan daily priorities and ensure the efficient allocation of quality control activities.
- Ensure the implementation, continuous improvement, and maintenance of quality management programs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and recognized food safety standards.
- Supervise validations, inspections, and verifications conducted throughout the production process.
- Review and approve quality-related documents, reports, and records.
- Coordinate the management of quality deviations, investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
- Manage customer complaint files and ensure appropriate follow-up on action plans.
- Participate in the preparation and execution of internal, external, and certification audits.
- Collaborate with various departments to effectively resolve quality-related issues.
- Implement initiatives aimed at optimizing processes, food safety, and operational performance.
- Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Perform any other duties related to the position.

Requirements
- University degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a food manufacturing environment.
- Previous team supervision experience.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing audits and monitoring corrective actions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingualism in French and English to communicate effectively with English-speaking clients (approximately 50% of the time).
Salary: Starting at $80,000 per year.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
