About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Litigation Adjuster to join our team remotely in Canada. The position location is flexible, and we can offer in-office, hybrid or fully remote working arrangements.
The successful candidate investigates, evaluates, negotiates, and settles claims by telephone, correspondence and when required through mediation (virtual or in person) and correspondence. Settling losses within delegated authority or reporting to clients while also directing field adjusters, experts and legal counsel on a task basis.
Salary range from $50,000 to $70,000 annualy.

Investigation, collection, and analysis of claims information

Accurate recording, reporting and presentation of files
-
Evaluates coverage, liability and quantum
-
Maintenance of accurate billing, and time and expense records

Negotiates, settles, and finalizes claims
-
Minimum 3 to 5 years of technical claims handling experience in commercial casualty claims
-
Post Secondary education in an insurance related field will be considered an asset
-
Experience in evaluating and quantifying bodily injury losses.

Experience is multiline claims, complex claim handling, legal proceedings and litigation management

CIP designation or working towards CIP designation is required

Independent Adjuster Licensed with ability to maintain a full adjusting license in your home province. Multiple provincial licenses is preferred.

Strong computer and reporting skills including Office 365 and Windows 10

A team player with outstanding customer service skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical and mathematical ability

Able to manage multiple priorities

Strong PC skills including application based skills

Complete continuing education courses as required by Crawford and Company, province, or professional trade association.
