Edmonton Soccer Facilities is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of some of Edmonton?s premier indoor and outdoor soccer venues.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role in supporting the soccer community while managing the day-to-day operations of three indoor soccer centres and the Bill Gilhespy Soccer Complex. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Maintenance Manager is a valued member of the Senior Management Team alongside the CEO/CFO, Financial Controller, and Administration Manager.
What You?ll Do
As Maintenance Manager, you will lead all aspects of facility maintenance and operations to ensure our buildings remain safe, efficient, welcoming, and fully operational for athletes, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operation of all Edmonton Soccer Facilities properties
- Ensure all building systems and operations are maintained safely, efficiently, and proactively
- Manage preventative, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance programs
- Lead, supervise, and support maintenance staff while coordinating contractors and service providers
- Respond promptly to repairs, maintenance requests, and operational issues
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities, equipment, and contractor service levels meet operational standards
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, work orders, and related databases
- Identify and recommend facility improvements, upgrades, and capital projects
- Assist with planning and monitoring maintenance and capital budgets
- Monitor and support building security systems, fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, and environmental/risk management requirements
- Coordinate construction, service, and capital improvement projects related to building operations
- Provide troubleshooting support and technical guidance for building systems and equipment
- Be available for on-call to support facility operations as required
- Help ensure our facilities consistently provide an exceptional experience for all patrons and user groups

Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in facility maintenance and/or building operations
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
- Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate contractors effectively
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with preventative maintenance systems and work order management
- Budgeting and project coordination experience is considered an asset
