Your Team:
Join Flair's Commercial team as a Charter Operations Specialist, where commercial acumen, relationship management, and operational coordination come together to support the growth of our charter business. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Opportunities, you will be responsible for the development, sale, coordination, and execution of charter operations from initial customer engagement through post-operation reconciliation. In this role, you will identify business opportunities, manage client relationships, prepare charter agreements, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure charter operations are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contractual, regulatory, and operational requirements. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. Occasional travel and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required based on operational needs.
This position is based on-site at any of our offices in Edmonton, AB (YEG), or Toronto, ON (YYZ).

- Ensure all pre-charter planning activities are completed, including regulatory reviews, slot coordination, permits, catering, ground handling, fuel arrangements, and any customer-specific requirements.
- Confirm that charter commitments align with fleet availability, maintenance planning, and network priorities.
- Maintain visibility of charter revenue, projected operating costs, and contribution margin, escalating risks to profitability where applicable.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day-of charter operations, ensuring safe and compliant execution in coordination with SOCC and operational stakeholders.
- Monitor charter performance in real time, proactively identifying risks, disruptions, or operational constraints.
- Lead cross-functional resolution efforts during irregular operations to protect customer commitments while minimizing operational and financial impact.
- Liaise with Airports, Crew Scheduling, Maintenance, and ground service providers to ensure seamless execution of all charter movements.

- Maintain professional and responsive communication with charter clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders throughout the charter lifecycle.
- Manage irregular operations and resolve service issues efficiently while maintaining customer confidence and operational integrity.
- Manage client expectations during disruptions, providing clear operational updates and recovery options where required.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with operational teams to ensure charter execution standards remain consistent and efficient.
- Oversee post-charter reconciliation activities, ensuring all direct and indirect costs are captured accurately.
- Support review of charter profitability, identifying operational inefficiencies or cost drivers impacting margin.
- Prepare post-operation summaries outlining performance, disruptions, customer feedback, and financial outcomes.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance charter execution, cost control, and operational reliability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
