Our Edmonton office is seeking a Material Testing Technician, the successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Materials Team, and will have the opportunity to work on various exciting projects alongside senior engineers/technicians in the field.

Your Contribution:
Your main responsibilities
- Field testing of civil construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt
- Learn about construction equipment, sequencing, and drawings
- Compaction testing of soils, aggregates and asphalt
- Concrete testing; casting cylinders and performing slump and air measurements
- Asphalt testing; Marshall analysis, pavement coring, and onsite sampling
- Preparing daily test summary report
- Technicians will be provided with a company truck
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
Your Profile:
What makes you unique
- A Degree or a Diploma in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology is an asset;
- Construction experience would be considered an asset;
- Valid drivers license, current drivers abstract, and insurance claims experience letter will be required;
- Technicians will be provided with a company truck;
- Quick learner with a good attitude;
- CSA approved laced steel-toed boots
- Alcohol and drug testing may be required upon arrival
- Must be able to work outside of normal working hours and any overtime assigned.
