The Opportunity:
McKay Metis Contracting is seeking a Maintenance Labor!
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Maintenance Lead, the Maintenance Laborer is responsible to ensure objectives of the organization are achieved by providing high quality and reliable maintenance support services to the maintenance department.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Understand, communicate, and ensure that safety is top priority by adhering to regulations, company and client policies, and procedures.
- Perform all shop support activities as required which may include:
- cleaning and detail inside of equipment cabs, lube bodies and external cabinets
- pressure washing of equipment
- organizing and cleaning shop area, including shop floors
- servicing brake calipers
- Perform inventory management and documentation as needed.
- Deliver and/or pick up materials to various work locations as requested utilizing material management documentation processes.
- Assist other maintenance personnel with equipment repairs and research when required.
- All other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Administrator, Maintenance Lead, or Maintenance Coordinator.
REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Minium Class (5) Drives Licence required
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing
- Clean 5-year Drivers Abstract.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and physically able to perform all duties
- Must be flexible and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be dependable and reliable.

- Ability to remain safety-focused and all follow safe work practices.
- Able to work in all weather and working site conditions.
- Ability to access all client sites as required.
- Physically able to complete the duties of the position.
SCHEDULE:
- Monday – Friday working 12-hour days.
SALARY:
- Competitive total compensation package
