Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Technician role based in Toronto, ON. The Automotive Technician will perform routine maintenance services, including inspections, oil changes, and fluid checks, to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently. The role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, completing repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, and other systems, and documenting work performed in a clear and accurate manner. The technician will use appropriate tools and equipment, follow safety and quality standards, and communicate findings and recommendations to service advisors or supervisors. Collaboration with other technicians and adherence to shop procedures and timelines are expected on a daily basis.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and routine Maintenance & Repair, with the ability to perform inspections and preventive services. Hands-on experience with Automotive Repair, including diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues across major vehicle systems. Proficiency in performing Oil Changes and related fluid services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. Knowledge of Suspension systems and the ability to service and repair suspension components safely and accurately. Relevant automotive technician training or certification (e.g., apprenticeship, trade school, or equivalent experience). Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, service bulletins, and technical documentation. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to workplace safety practices. Capability to work on-site in a fast-paced shop environment, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
