Is this job for you? Are you a seasoned outside B2B sales rep experienced in furniture sales, new home construction or a related industry? Do you enjoy working with world class brands in major appliances, electronics, home furnishings, and commercial furniture? Description: This is a B2B role whose prime responsibility is in creating new business opportunities, as well as nurturing existing accounts. The focus market segment for this role will be to further develop and grow our furniture, electric fireplace, and commercial quote opportunities for The Brick / Midnorthern Appliance Commercial Division. You will be joining a proactive and high-caliber sales team that focuses on customer experience and providing solutions. You will deliver against your KPI targets through generating sales opportunities, understanding the business needs of your prospects / customers, identifying undiscovered growth through incremental categories, and providing excellent customer service in the process. Responsibilities Proactively prospect for new business opportunities and onboard net new accounts. Identify and sell opportunities across multiple categories into our existing customer base Efficiently organize time spent on outside sales development, and in meetings with commercial customers Enhance relationship with existing accounts to identify and secure future business opportunities. Complete tenders / quotes in a timely manner to customers and ensure accuracy of details communicated. Provide product specifications and generate project quotes. Arrange for extended warranty, financing, delivery and installation as required. Maintain an updated log of your prospects and key accounts. Meet performance targets and growth plans in co-operation with the East GTA Regional Director. Liaison with the commercial sales customer care team to deliver exceptional service and deliver a Best-in-Class overall customer experience Qualifications Post-Secondary Education in Business or Marketing with minimum 3 years of B2B outbound consultative sales and customer service experience or minimum 5 years of B2B outbound consultative sales and customer service experience in lieu of post-secondary education. A clear understanding of “true salesmanship” that goes beyond simply moving products or order taking. Experience in providing products and / or services to the multi-unit residential construction industry an asset. Knowledge of account Management with the ability to create and execute strategies within assigned territory to deliver against sales targets. Outstanding Time Management skills, presentation, communication, and Customer Service experience. Having a “growth mindset and sense of accountability” are an absolute must. Why The Brick?
