As an IT Analyst, you will be at the heart of our mission.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, investigate, and resolve technical and functional incidents affecting the applications under your responsibility. Provide production support and contribute to maintaining application availability on a day-to-day basis. Interpret functional and technical documentation to efficiently identify root causes of issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Read and analyze code within .NET and Java environments to support application investigation and enhancement activities. Interpret application logs, processing flows, and legacy solutions implemented over time. Write and execute SQL queries and various scripts required for analysis and validation activities. Actively participate in quality assurance activities, including test strategy development, scenario preparation, execution of functional and regression testing, and the documentation of results and defects. Collaborate closely with team members, business partners, and technical stakeholders to ensure service quality and continuity. Participate in the evolution of existing applications and recommend improvements that generate quick wins for the organization.

We Are Looking For Someone Who: Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in complex environments. Demonstrates a high level of autonomy, rigor, and strong critical thinking abilities. Shows intellectual curiosity and a continuous desire to learn and grow professionally. Stands out through effective collaboration skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a variety of stakeholders. Holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration (IT profile), or another related field. Has between five and ten years of relevant experience in IT analysis, ideally within a legacy application maintenance environment. Has a solid understanding of .NET and Java application environments. Is proficient in modern software development approaches such as Agile, MVP, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD), REST, and SOAP. Has experience supporting, analyzing, and evolving legacy application assets. Possesses a strong knowledge of SQL databases and script execution. Demonstrates a solid understanding of quality assurance practices, test case design, and the execution of functional, integration, and regression testing. Has knowledge of the group insurance industry (a significant asset). Has an intermediate level of English proficiency, as the incumbent will be required to communicate, analyze, and explain operational and technical issues to English-speaking business partners and users on a monthly basis. Has an advanced level of French proficiency, as the incumbent will be required to interact with, analyze, and explain operational and technical issues to French-speaking business partners, stakeholders, and users on a regular basis.
