About the role
Support Worker/ Caregiver
Passionate about providing compassionate care? Join our team as a Support Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young adults aged 2-17.
This position is for casual respite care, assisting a teenager with life experiences on weekdays.
Responsibilities
Provide respite care and support with daily activities
Administer medications as instructed Offer companionship and plan engaging activities Help the child with learning life experiences ( working, day-to-day responsibility)
Qualifications
Experience in caregiving
Knowledge of medication procedures Physical ability to lift and assist Strong communication and caring attitude Confidentiality commitment
Requirements
Valid First Aid
Recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check CFS Intervention Check Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
