Nat’s Pharmacy (Nat's Remedy's Walk-In Clinic) is looking for a full-time Family Physician to join our team in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

Responsibilities

Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures and consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health Prescribe and administer medications and treatments Provide emergency care Provide acute care management Vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases Advise patients and their families on health care, including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues Perform patient advocacy role Coordinate or manage primary patient care Provide continuous care to patients Report births, deaths, and contagious and other diseases to governmental authorities.

Qualifications

Must be a registered member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. Must be issued a valid practice permit. Recent (within the last 12 months) experience as a general family physician Completion of University Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, etc.) Health Insurance Provider Identification Number (Practice ID) Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills A passion for patient care and the patient experience Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment

Schedule

32 to 40 hours per week.
