Your New Role
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements throughout the manufacturing process. Following an initial training period on day shift, you will transition to a permanent evening shift position.
Perform first article and final quality inspections on microelectronic assemblies and components. Record, maintain, and track quality data accurately within established systems. Identify quality issues, defects, and non-conformances, and support corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Verify product workmanship and compliance with applicable drawings, standards, and specifications. Collaborate with production and department leadership to meet production schedules and quality objectives. Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
What You'll Need To Succeed
2+ years of quality inspection experience within a microelectronics, electronics manufacturing, or similar precision manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of MIL-STD-883 and electronic assembly quality standards. Certification in IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 (Space Addendum certification considered a strong asset). Experience inspecting SMT and wire-bonded components and identifying cosmetic and workmanship defects. Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, procedures, and work instructions with a high level of accuracy. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with bilingual English and French capabilities considered an asset.
