About Brucejack

Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.

Your impact

• Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of surface mobile equipment supporting site access operations
• Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance, inspections, and repairs
• Contribute to a strong safety culture where hazard recognition and mitigation are a priority

As part of our team you will

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty surface equipment, trucks, and light vehicles
• Execute maintenance work orders in collaboration with operations, planning, and reliability teams
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and document completed repairs accurately
• Support apprentices through coaching and mentorship
• Contribute to preventative maintenance strategies and continuous improvement initiatives
• Promote safe work practices and compliance with asset management standards

Prerequisites for your success in this role

• Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining and repairing mobile heavy equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities across a range of equipment (loaders, graders, trucks, cranes, etc.)
• Experience with OEM diagnostic tools (e.g., CAT ET, Cummins Insite) is an asset
• Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and teamwork
• Physically capable of working in remote, high-demand environments
• Ability to work rotational 12-hour shifts and pass pre-employment testing

The expected salary range for this role is CA$105,800.00 -141,100.00/yr + 15% STIP . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
