Salary Range: Base + Bonus - OTE $55,000 - 75,000/yearly
About The Current Open Role
As the Lead Generation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening Foss’ sales and marketing funnel by bridging the gap between inbound interest and closed business. In this role, you will take centralized ownership of our digital prospecting tools (including ZoomInfo) to transform raw marketing-generated leads into highly qualified opportunities. By implementing consistent nurturing processes and streamlining outbound prospecting, you will directly maximize campaign ROI and elevate our brand growth. Crucially, your efforts will free up our Account Executives to focus on what they do best—building deep client relationships and closing deals. This is a unique opportunity to build a scalable sales talent pipeline from the ground up, while driving data-backed alignment between our Sales and Marketing teams to optimize the entire customer journey.
What We're Looking For

Serve as the immediate first touchpoint for all website, campaign, and digital marketing leads to dramatically improve response times and customer experience.

Qualify incoming opportunities based on business fit, urgency, and service needs, seamlessly scheduling discovery meetings for Account Executives or routing fuel/card-only leads to internal specialists.

Own and utilize ZoomInfo and other prospecting platforms to build highly targeted lists, segmenting prospects by SME, Strategic, National, and short-term opportunities.

Partner closely with the Marketing team to execute targeted outbound campaigns and account-based marketing initiatives aligned with growth priorities.

Act as the critical bridge between teams to ensure timely lead handoffs, maintain consistent brand messaging, and provide feedback to Marketing on lead quality and customer trends.

Maintain pristine CRM data, track outreach activity and engagement rates, and support highly accurate pipeline reporting to optimize future campaigns.

Serve as a liaison with the Roy Foss Dealer Group to promote FNL fleet services and commercial leasing opportunities.

Drive higher marketing ROI, maximize Account Executive productivity by reducing their prospecting workload, and help build a scalable, national lead generation model that serves as a talent pipeline for future sales roles.
What You'll Bring

Proven track record in a lead generation, business development (BDR/SDR), inside sales, or sales support role.

Proficiency with CRM systems and experience leveraging advanced sales enablement tools like ZoomInfo to build targeted prospect lists.

Ability to quickly assess inbound data, ask the right questions, and evaluate a prospect's business fit, urgency, and service needs.

A mindset focused on tracking key performance indicators, including speed-to-response, follow-up rates, and lead-to-opportunity conversion metrics.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent the brand professionally and articulate consistent marketing messages to prospects.

High level of organization with a strict commitment to data accuracy, clean pipeline reporting, and consistent process management.

A natural ability to work cross-functionally, seamlessly connecting the dots between Marketing campaign outputs and Sales team execution.
