Warehouse Technician

Atlantic Operations is a wholly owned subsidiary of St Barbara Limited, an ASX listed gold producer and explorer with mining assets in Canada and Australia.

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Technician. This role is a full time, max-term position, reporting to the Procurement Superintendent and will be based at our Touquoy mine site located approximately 1-hour northeast of Halifax, near Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia.

The Opportunity:

• Execute daily warehouse and inventory management activities accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials; match purchase orders to packing lists.
• Unload deliveries and safely handle materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels in system and physically.
• Operate warehouse tools and equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as required.
• Maintain documentation and transaction records for traceability and audit purposes.
• Communicate effectively with procurement, maintenance, and operations teams regarding inventory availability
• Assist in identifying stock shortages, excess inventory, and reorder requirements.

Our successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

• Behaviour consistent with St Barbara’s values.
• Ability to interpret purchase orders, packing slips, and inventory documentation.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Basic computer proficiency (data entry, email, spreadsheets).
• Operate warehouse tools and equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as required.
• 1-3+ years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, or materials handling roles
• Forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain) is desired
