About the role
What you will do The O&M Facility Plant Manager will be part of our P3 Building Technologies & Solutions business at Johnson Controls. This position will be located at the Milton District Hospital, where you will be responsible for the execution of an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) operation contract(s) site and reporting to the O&M Operations Manager. This will involve overseeing mechanical operations, programming, monitoring, alarm response or other Plant activities, and communicating with vendors, contractors, the Customer Business Manager, Operations Manager and the O&M team on all issues concerning execution of the contract. How you will do it Oversee and schedule contractors needed to fulfill O&M contractual Plant obligations. Be responsible for programming and monitoring alarm responses and mechanical operations. Contract may specify responsibilities for HVAC, mechanical, fire, security systems, etc. Maintain and update all assigned systems. Develop and implement energy reports with the Energy Team. Provide regular management reports as requested by the O&M team and the client. Be required to be on call 24/7 to provide emergency telephone assistance as well as emergency response to the facility. Ensure compliance to all city, provincial and federal license and certification requirements. Maintain and submit all records and documents to proper authorities. Review all work and assure performance in accordance with established safety procedures. Comply with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards. Perform other duties as required. What we look for [Required Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience] Five or more years’ experience in plant operations and maintenance. Able to train entry-level and existing FM personnel on Plant systems and Building Automation System controls. Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and their operation. Able to deal with customers and others at all levels. Knowledge of JCI procedures and policies. Must be a team player, committed to working in a quality environment. HIRING SALARY RANGE: $87,600 - $117,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
