Field Analyst
About the role
The Field Analyst supports operational performance and transformation initiatives across Right Time's branch network. Reporting into the Vice President of Transformation, this role combines field productivity analytics, workforce planning, continuous improvement support, and project management office (PMO) coordination to help identify opportunities, improve execution, and drive measurable business results.
The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Finance, HR, and Transformation leadership to analyze performance, identify trends, support improvement initiatives, and provide reporting that enables better decision-making across the organization.
This position is a hybrid role preferably located within the GTA or surrounding area. There will be occasional travel to branch locations across Canada to support operational reviews, improvement initiatives, and field studies.
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
Key Responsibilities
Field Productivity & Performance Analytics
· Analyze field productivity metrics including jobs per technician per day, revenue per technician, first-time fix rates, callbacks, drive time, and schedule utilization · Identify performance trends, operational gaps, and improvement opportunities across branches and regions · Develop recurring reports, dashboards, and scorecards to support operational decision-making · Support productivity studies and operational reviews by collecting, analyzing, and presenting findings to leadership · Monitor the impact of operational initiatives and track performance against established targets Workforce Planning & Capacity Analysis
- Build and maintain forecasts for field labor demand across HVAC, plumbing, and other service lines
- Track technician headcount, productive hours, overtime, attrition, and workforce utilization
- Analyze capacity constraints and supply-demand imbalances across branches and regions
- Support seasonal workforce planning activities, including hiring, overtime, and contractor requirements during peak periods Transformation & Continuous Improvement Support
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by conducting baseline analysis, sizing opportunities, and tracking results
- Assist with business case development and benefit validation for transformation projects
- Maintain initiative trackers, savings logs, and performance scorecards for key transformation programs
- Partner with branch and corporate leaders to collect data, monitor progress, and identify risks to project success
- Support field studies, process reviews, and operational assessments to identify opportunities for standardization and efficiency Reporting & Project Management Office (PMO) Support
- Maintain project plans, milestone trackers, and status reporting for the transformation portfolio
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting packages for leadership teams
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting tools and performance dashboards
- Support preparation of presentations, business reviews, and executive reporting materials
Qualifications
- No defined years of experience required, however experience in analytics, operations, consulting, FP&A, continuous improvement, PMO, or a related field will be beneficial
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar business intelligence tools preferred
- Exposure to SQL, data modeling, or database reporting considered an asset
- Experience supporting operational improvement or transformation initiatives is preferred
- Experience within field service, construction, trades, logistics, retail operations, or other labor-intensive industries is considered an asset
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
