Our finance team is growing here at rcs construction. We are on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team based in our Bedford office.

As an integral part of our finance team, the Accounts Payable Clerk will play a key role in maintaining accurate payables records, supporting effective cash flow, and ensuring compliance with internal financial processes and procedures. How you’ll spend your day:

Managing the corporate credit card system and supporting related processes Receiving, reviewing, and entering supplier invoices into our accounting software Coordinating invoice approvals with the team Supporting supplier account reconciliations and helping resolve discrepancies Processing weekly payments and ensuring accuracy Managing the AP inbox and responding to vendor and internal inquiries Coordinating with teams to gather receipts and approved purchase orders Keeping accounts payable records organized and up to date Providing back-up support across the AP function, including payments and month-end What will help you thrive: Post-secondary degree or diploma in finance, accounting or related discipline Minimum 1 year of accounts payable or finance experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with MS Office Suite Experience with Jonas or other accounting systems Experience with Float or other credit card platforms Strong organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping Align with our core values Accountability, Communication & Teamwork.
