Introduction Brunel is partnered with a leading Canadian financial institution to hire a Analyst Developer focused on enterprise data management and Financial Markets data platforms. This is a full-time permanent opportunity within a growing Capital Markets technology team supporting critical market and reference data operations across the bank.

The Analyst Developer will support an enterprise data management platform responsible for integrating, transforming, validating, and distributing market and reference data across multiple downstream systems. This role combines: Data integration Production support Platform configuration Technical troubleshooting Data quality management Enterprise workflow support

You will work closely with technology teams, operations, and business stakeholders to support critical Financial Markets data processes and platform operations. This is not a pure software development role. The environment is more focused on enterprise data platforms, data workflows, integrations, and operational support than custom application development.

Responsibilities Data Integration & Platform Support Support data ingestion, transformation, validation, and publishing workflows Configure and support enterprise data platform integrations Work with market and reference data feeds across downstream systems Troubleshoot interfaces, data pipelines, and integration issues Support automated and scheduled data processing workflows Support day-to-day platform operations and production support activities Investigate and resolve data quality and operational issues Participate in support rotations and operational troubleshooting Assist with improving support processes and operational efficiency Support SLA and KPI monitoring activities where applicable Analyze data issues, reconciliation gaps, and integration failures Perform root cause analysis and remediation support Work with SQL, scripting, and enterprise integration technologies Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams when required Partner with Financial Markets, Operations, and Technology teams Communicate production issues, risks, and technical findings clearly Support ongoing platform enhancement and transformation initiatives Contribute to documentation, standards, and operational best practices

Qualifications Experience supporting enterprise data management, data integration, or financial data platforms Strong SQL skills and experience with Python or similar scripting/programming languages Experience supporting production environments and operational workflows Experience working with market data, reference data, or Capital Markets systems Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Experience with enterprise platform configuration and integrations Strong communication skills in English and French Ability to work onsite 2 days per week in either Montreal or Toronto DevOps exposure AWS exposure Bloomberg, Reuters, or Markit data feed integrations Experience with SLAs, KPI reporting, and operational governance Financial engineering or applied mathematics background CFA Level 1 or demonstrated interest in Financial Markets Experience mentoring or leading support activities
