About the role
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Stock Room Associate / Shipper & Receiver to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience working in a warehouse environment and is recognized for being organized, efficient, and committed to providing excellent service. This role involves receiving, shipping, inventory management, and supporting distribution operations while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments. Scan and track incoming goods to ensure timely delivery to internal customers. Prepare invoices, shipping documentation, and packing slips. Package and ship orders using established shipping protocols and carrier systems. Affix appropriate labels, identifying information, and shipping instructions. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve shipping and receiving issues.
Inventory Management
Receive, sort, and organize incoming inventory. Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized inventory control systems. Conduct inventory counts and reconciles discrepancies. Store materials and supplies in an orderly, accessible, and safe manner. Process requisitions and distribute supplies as required. Prepare replenishment orders to maintain adequate stock levels.
Distribution & Logistics Support
Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries for internal customers. Record and track delivery information using computerized systems. Unload, sort, and distribute equipment and materials. Support warehouse operations to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Experience working in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, stockkeeping, or distribution environment. Ability to accurately manage inventory and shipping documentation. Experience using computerized inventory or order-entry systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Ability to safely lift and move materials as required.
Compensation
$21-24/hour
“Final compensation will be based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and contract conditions.”
