Job Summary

The Landscape Driver plays a critical support role in daily landscaping operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials, equipment, and machinery to and from job sites and suppliers to keep projects running smoothly.

The Landscape Driver also maintains yard organization and inventory, supports equipment readiness, and assists with basic mechanical and maintenance tasks as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials, tools, and equipment to job sites
• Pick up materials from suppliers and vendors
• Prioritize and complete daily deliveries and pickups efficiently
• Load, secure, and transport equipment and machinery
• Follow proper load securement, tie-down and hook-up procedures
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain organized yard inventory and storage areas
• Assist with bulk material ordering and receiving, including verifying quantities and quality
• Tag, label, and organize materials according to yard standards
• Complete required administrative forms and digital records
• Support route planning, prioritization and efficient time managements
• Maintain yard organization & tidiness during peak season
• Assist the Heavy Duty Mechanic with repairs and maintenance when required
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and identify maintenance issues early
• Support landscaping crews as needed to maintain smooth daily operations
• Perform other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Previous delivery experience in landscaping or construction preferred
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license (no air brakes)
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Minimum 3 years of personal vehicle insurance history
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Mechanically inclined
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and problem-solve
