We are conducting electric meter upgrades in theSt. Albert,****ABarea forFortis Alberta, and are hiring**Full Time Temporary Electric Meter Installers!**Applicants need to be at least 18 years of age, hold a valid driver’s license and have a clean criminal and driving history.NO EXPERIENCE is required with paid training! Temporary position is expected to work until December.

All of our field staff are provided with:

• Safety gear including company boot (allowance), vests, glasses, etc.
• Company vehicle
• Paid training at**$31.35/hour**, up to a total of**$250.80 for a full day**
• Will be transitioned topiece rateonce training is successfully completed, unlocking your earning potential!

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for installing single phase electric meters by replacing an existing meter (change-out). The new meter and meter module are installed to automate the process of reading a meter for accurate consumption and billing.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (Potential to work Saturdays as well)
• Must be able to walk up to 5-10 km per day
• Must be able to complete a Readme test at 100%

Working Conditions and Hours:

• Outdoor work environment
• Little supervision to give you freedom to work independently and manage your own day

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Successfully complete the company’s training program and pass applicable written and field tests
• Learn and apply safety measure relating to motor vehicle operation and other field related matters
