Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. Your ability to engage with customers and promote our products will play a key role in driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction. We are located in North York with a large Spanish and Portuguese client, so it is required to know one of these 2 languages.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Provide knowledgeable information about products, including technology sales, to help customers make informed decisions.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing sales and returns.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is well-displayed and stocked.
• Manage time effectively to balance customer service with sales goals.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives and enhance overall performance.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and store policies to provide accurate information to customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required.
• Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and team members.
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer interaction capabilities.
• Familiarity with technology sales is a plus, as well as experience using POS systems.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service are essential traits for success in this role.
• You need to be able to speak Spanish or Portuguese
