About the role
Overview We are currently seeking a child and adolescent psychologist to join our committed and compassionate practice of mental health professionals who work comprehensively with clients across the lifespan. We are a clinic that emphasizes evidence-based treatment, training, and consultation/supervision so that we can deliver high quality treatment. We engage in extensive program evaluation to ensure that we are offering effective services, and that we are continually enhancing our services. We highly value working collaboratively as a team with each other, and with our clients and their families. We are hoping to hire a child and adolescent psychologist to contribute by conducting comprehensive assessments and/or providing intervention to children, adolescents and families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct treatment and psychological evaluations and assessments for children, adolescents and families
- Provide evidence-based treatment (primarily CBT and DBT), including individual, group, parent, or family therapy
- Participate in a weekly DBT consultation team
- Collaborate with colleagues, external professionals, and caregivers to coordinate care and support client progress
- Collect data to evaluate progress and inform treatment planning
- Provide leadership on the team through supervision, consultation, program development, program evaluation, and/or training
Requirements
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology
- Registration in Child and Adolescent Clinical or School Psychology (or eligibility for such registration)
- Experience and competence in providing individual, group, family and parent therapy
- Competence in providing CBT and DBT, or openness to learning adherent DBT
- Knowledge of program evaluation
Pay: $150.00-$200.00 per hour

Broadview Psychology offers mental health services to children, adolescents, adults and families in a cozy home environment in a convenient Toronto location. We are a group of highly educated and specialized clinicians who work together as a team. We offer CBT, DBT and ACT through individual, group and family therapy. We provide services to individuals with a range of challenges, including emotional and behavioural dysregulation, depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, substance use disorders. We also offer psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational assessments to children, adolescents and young adults.
