Radio Frequency Optimization Expert (Nokia LTE/5G SME)
About the role
Our client is seeking a Radio Frequency Optimization Expert (Nokia LTE/5G SME) to support wireless network performance initiatives across LTE and 5G environments. This individual will serve as a technical subject matter expert responsible for troubleshooting complex network issues, performing deep-dive performance analysis, and optimizing Nokia wireless networks. The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on Nokia experience, a strong background in LTE and 5G network optimization, and proven expertise in KPI analysis, trace analysis, and root cause investigation.
Responsibilities
Optimize LTE and 5G network performance across Nokia radio access network (RAN) environments. Analyze network KPIs and performance data to identify optimization opportunities. Troubleshoot complex wireless network issues using traces, logs, and performance metrics. Perform root cause analysis for coverage, throughput, accessibility, retainability, and mobility issues. Tune network parameters to improve customer experience and overall network performance. Support feature trials, network enhancements, and new technology deployments. Investigate and resolve performance degradation issues across LTE and 5G networks. Collaborate closely with the Optimization Team and cross-functional engineering groups. Monitor network health and implement performance improvement recommendations. Support continuous optimization initiatives for Nokia wireless infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of RF or RAN optimization experience. Recent hands-on experience with Nokia LTE and 5G networks. Strong knowledge of LTE, 5G NR, RF optimization, and wireless access networks. Experience with KPI analysis and performance management. Expertise in network troubleshooting, trace analysis, and root cause analysis. Experience tuning network parameters and optimizing wireless network performance. Ability to investigate and resolve complex network performance challenges. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
