The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor is responsible for maintaining strong

partnerships with all vendors, meet operations product needs on a timely basis and evaluate and recommend new products to enhance standards and increase profitability.  

Now, if you were to come on board as our  Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, we’d

ask you to do the following for us:

• Maintains “show quality” of all areas at all times
• Understands all menus, product offerings, packaging, and pricing
• Establishes rapport with associates, management, and partners
• Employs safety, security and sanitation guidelines and practices
• Completes scheduling of team members for all events
• Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
• Achieves daily sales, assigned cost goals and budget goals
• Oversees execution of required daily reporting and completion of required department reports and compiles information at month end closing
• Reviews forecasts and schedules to meet operational needs and desired targets
• Thoroughly and accurately uses applicable Compass systems (Purchasing Systems, Point-of-sale, Timekeeping systems, etc.)
• Oversees inventory procedures for accountability and ensures inventory best practices are in place
• Uses all performance management tools to provide guidance to team and to ensure lines of communication are open between management and associates
• Interviews, hires, trains, and develops associates according to Compass guidelines
• Can Do attitude
