Role: Track Lead – Oracle DBA / Unix Shell Scripting Location: Toronto(3 days in office,2 WFH) Type: Full Time Implementation Partner: HCLTech Job Description We are looking for an experienced Track Lead – Oracle DBA / Unix Shell Scripting to support critical production environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle DBA, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting, and C++, with hands-on experience in production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Key Responsibilities Lead production incident triage, resolution, and root cause analysis. Administer and support Oracle databases across environments. Develop and maintain PL/SQL objects and Shell Scripts. Monitor system, application, and database performance. Perform database tuning, backup, recovery, and maintenance activities. Support C++ applications integrated with Oracle databases. Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams. Maintain operational documentation and support on-call activities. Must-Have Skills Oracle DBA Administration PL/SQL Development Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (Bash/KornShell) SQL & Performance Tuning Production Support & Incident Management C++ Development Preferred Skills Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard RMAN Backup & Recovery Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics AWS, Azure, OCI Experience 5+ years of Oracle DBA / Production Support experience. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Experience working in high-availability production environments.
