About the Role

Lankin Investments is seeking a motivated, results-driven Associate, Private Capital Markets to join our growing Capital Markets team. As an Associate, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective investors who have expressed interest in learning more about private real estate investing. Working with warm, inbound marketing leads, you will engage prospects, qualify their interest, educate them on Lankin's investment offering, and schedule qualified meetings for our Directors of Private Capital Markets. This is a high-volume, fast-paced sales role that requires exceptional communication skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to balance quality conversations with consistent activity. Success in this role is measured by your ability to build trust quickly, create meaningful investor engagement, and generate qualified meetings while maintaining disciplined CRM management.

Key Responsibilities

Contact inbound marketing leads promptly via phone, email, and other communication channels. Conduct high-volume outbound calling while delivering a professional, consultative client experience. Qualify prospective investors based on established criteria and assess investment readiness. Build rapport and educate prospective investors on Lankin Investments, private real estate, and our investment process. Schedule qualified meetings for Directors of Private Capital Markets, ensuring a seamless client handoff. Accurately document all client interactions, notes, and next steps within the CRM. Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective investors through structured sales sequences. Manage a high-volume pipeline while prioritizing opportunities effectively. Meet and exceed individual activity and appointment-setting targets. Collaborate closely with Marketing and the Capital Markets team to optimize lead quality and conversion rates. Continuously develop product knowledge, sales techniques, and objection-handling skills.

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in inside sales, business development, financial services, or another client-facing sales environment. Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Highly motivated with a competitive, goal-oriented mindset. Ability to confidently engage senior professionals and high-net-worth investors. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment with clearly defined performance goals. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate CRM records. Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot experience is considered an asset). Experience in financial services, investments, real estate, or wealth management is an asset but not required.
