ELEMENTARY SYSTEM SECRETARY #3 (Vacancy)

The successful candidate will be deployed by the Human Resources Department to provide extra resources to meet the secretarial needs at elementary schools. Assignments may include replacement of staff on leave.

Under the direction of the Principal and/or Vice Principal at the assigned school duties shall include the following:

• Assist the full time secretary with the day-to-day operation of the school office
• Perform clerical duties related to the processing and maintaining of staff lists and student records
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Secondary school graduate or equivalent required
• Successful completion of an Office Administration Program from a recognized Post-Secondary Institution and/or equivalent experience in the office administration is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher)
• Word processing, database and spreadsheet experience required
• Experience with Google Applications would be an asset
• Experience with Aspen (Student Information System) would be an asset
• Experience with School Cash Suite & K212 would be an asset
• Proven commitment to maintaining confidentiality
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
