As a member of the Mechanical Maintenance Team, you must have the following skills, qualifications and experience: Fully Qualified Millwright with an Alberta Journeyman Millwright Trade Certificate or equivalent (Inter Provincial Seal preferred) A minimum of 3 years industrial plant maintenance experience Good communication skills Above average teamwork skills Excellent troubleshooting skills Basic computer skill (Microsoft Office & Outlook) SAP Maintenance Management System experience is an asset A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record The successful candidate may be required to work a continuous 12-hour shift Responsibilities: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment Implement preventative and predictive programs/assignments for mechanical systems Participate in post event analysis and root cause discussions and take part in developing solutions Commit to adhering to guidelines and maintaining technical and preventative records Review and apply a continuous improvement mindset to safe work practices, procedures, and standards Maintain equipment histories and complete equipment overhaul check sheets Work closely with other maintenance and/or operations as required and be willing to work by yourself to ensure equipment/plant reliability The starting wage is $53.82 per hour.
