Location: Stratford, ON (onsite) Salary Range: $42.21- $52/ hour Vacancy Type: Existing position Schedule: Continental rotating shifts As our next Licensed Electrician, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining, troubleshooting, installing, and commissioning advanced manufacturing equipment. Your expertise in industrial electrical systems, CNC machinery, PLC controls, robotics, hydraulics, and pneumatics will be critical in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient production operations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. What You’ll Be Doing: • Maintain and repair production equipment and facility systems in partnership with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams • Repair, refurbish, and support state-of-the-art CNC, PLC, and robotic manufacturing equipment • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and control systems • Assemble, debug, install, and start up new or modified production equipment • Support planned maintenance activities and emergency equipment repairs • Maintain equipment documentation, technical manuals, instructions, and electrical schematics • Ensure operational quality and efficiency targets are achieved • Support new manufacturing projects through the implementation of new or modified production equipment • Coordinate and participate in continuous improvement initiatives • Train new hires and apprentices on electrical installation standards and best practices • Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient maintenance department • Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Systems What We’re Looking For: • Certificate of Qualification as an Electrician (442A or 309A) or equivalent industrial experience • Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining CNC machining and automated assembly equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment • Strong knowledge of PLC systems, CNC controls, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics • Experience troubleshooting automated assembly equipment and control systems • Strong communication, teamwork, negotiation, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work rotating continental shifts • Understanding of automotive manufacturing systems and quality requirements Bonus Points If You Have: • Experience with Fanuc robots • Welding and manual machining experience • Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards • Experience supporting high-volume automotive manufacturing operations • Experience leading or supporting continuous improvement projects How to Apply: Apply online at www.johnsonelectric.com — We can’t wait to meet you!
