What You’ll Be Doing: * Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and bills of materials * Assemble and fit complex parts and sub‑assemblies for custom automation equipment * Integrate pneumatic and hydraulic systems into machinery * Fabricate and machine basic components as required * Conduct testing and perform adjustments to ensure equipment meets specifications * Support machine debug, integration, and commissioning activities * Coordinate with electricians and PLC programmers during machine builds * Train customers, maintenance, and operators on equipment and safety procedures * Verify part conformance using precision measuring instruments * Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements for manufacturability * Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain organized work areas What We’re Looking For: * Diploma or equivalent technical training or relevant experience * 5+ years of experience in automation, machine building, or millwright work * Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly and blueprint reading * Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems * Ability to use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) * Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills Bonus Points If You Have: * Machining experience * Experience with rigging and lifting techniques * Exposure to full machine build and commissioning environments * Familiarity with MS Office tools How to Apply: Apply online at www.johnsonelectric.com - We can’t wait to meet you!
