If you bring the effort, we’ll help you get to where you want to be. What You’ll Do As a 310T/310J Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet. Your responsibilities will include: Diagnosing and repairing equipment in the shop Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on tractors and trailers Assisting with preventative and predictive maintenance planning Testing repaired equipment to confirm proper performance Performing lubrication, cleaning, and general maintenance tasks Maintaining accurate records using our work order software Ensuring proper use and storage of shop tools Tracking parts used and communicating with the Service Coordinator Maintaining a clean and safe work environment Completing additional mechanical tasks as required What You Bring Valid 310T/310J Technician License Minimum 1 year of experience as a mechanic in the transportation industry Valid G driver’s license (A or D is an asset) Strong mechanical abilities in gas and diesel repair Knowledge of PACCAR, Cummins, Detroit, and related diagnostic systems (asset) Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced shop Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well under pressure Excellent attention to detail and accurate record keeping Flexibility with hours and shifts (asset, not required) Why Joseph Transportation Group?
