1. EXPERIENCED PERSONAL INJURY LAWYER (AB & TORT): JSM Law is growing and we are looking for an in-person, Personal Injury Lawyer to join our team. The candidate would be familiar with BOTH Accident Benefits and Tort. Responsibilities for the Lawyer include, but are not limited to: · Assessing files based on medical evidence · Meet with clients · Drafting, reviewing, amending Pleadings · Prepare Statements of Claim, Mediation Memorandum, trial records, and other hearings at the LAT, etc. · Research, factum writing, correspondence with opposing counsel · Attend and represent clients for Motions, Examinations for Discovery, pre-trials, trials, etc. · Settlement of claims · Other duties as required. What you’ll do

Requirements

Requires a J.D. or LL.B., an Ontario license to practice law, good standing with the Law Society of Ontario, and at least four years of personal injury experience. Candidates should have knowledge of plaintiff personal injury law, strong communication and negotiation abilities, excellent organization and time management, and a client-focused, independent work approach.
