About

K2 Capital is an investment firm focused on investing in, building and financing growth companies. We work closely with founders, management teams and strategic partners to develop businesses, pursue acquisitions and access public markets in Canada and the United States. Our involvement spans identifying investment opportunities, structuring transactions, assembling leadership teams and boards, and supporting companies through financing, public listings and subsequent growth. Our interests span multiple sectors, with particular emphasis on critical minerals and strategic materials, energy, industrial technology, defence and advanced manufacturing. We seek opportunities where strong underlying assets, capable leadership and a clear commercial strategy can create lasting value. K2 combines an investor’s perspective with practical experience in corporate development and capital markets. Our capabilities include mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, initial public offerings, reverse takeovers and SPAC business combinations. We work alongside management to align capital structures, governance and financing plans with the needs of the business. Our approach is grounded in independent judgment, disciplined execution and alignment among founders, management and investors. We take an active role in the companies we back, helping establish the relationships, leadership and financial foundations needed for their next stage of growth. We welcome conversations with entrepreneurs, business owners, management teams, investors and strategic partners who share a commitment to building enduring businesses.
