The practice is strongly committed to supporting first responders and helping professionals who carry significant responsibilities. Services include therapy, psychological assessment, psycholegal and psychosocial expertise, and group interventions, all offered with respect for each person’s story. Clients are met with presence, honesty, and care, at a pace that keeps their goals at the center of the work. Role Description The Psychologist will provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling to a diverse caseload, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in Montreal, QC. Day-to-day tasks include conducting clinical interviews, developing treatment plans, delivering individual and group interventions, and coordinating care with other professionals as needed. The role also involves completing psychological assessments, preparing clear and timely reports, and, where appropriate, contributing to psycholegal or psychosocial evaluations. The Psychologist will maintain accurate clinical documentation, uphold trauma-informed and culturally sensitive practices, and participate in team case discussions or consultations. This is a contract, hybrid role, combining in-person work in Montreal, QC with some work-from-home flexibility. Qualifications Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with the ability to apply trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches. Competence in Counseling and Medicine-related collaboration, including working with multidisciplinary teams and complex clinical presentations. Demonstrated skills in Psychological Assessment, including conducting evaluations, interpreting results, and writing clear, clinically sound reports. Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, maintain professional boundaries, and work with high-conflict or high-stress situations. Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology (or equivalent) and eligibility or registration with the appropriate regulatory body in Quebec. Experience working with trauma, first responders, helping professionals, or psycholegal contexts is an asset. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, manage time independently, and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
