Overview Position Summary The Service Porter supports the daily operations of the OEM dealership’s service department by ensuring efficient vehicle flow and providing an exceptional customer experience. This role is responsible for moving, organizing, and maintaining vehicles in a safe and professional manner while assisting the service team with various tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive environment. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Greet customers in the service drive and assist with vehicle intake as needed. Move customer vehicles to designated parking areas, service bays, or wash stations safely and efficiently. Retrieve vehicles for customer pickup and ensure they are clean and ready for delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, parking lots, and dealership grounds. Assist technicians and service advisors with vehicle staging and shop flow. Perform basic vehicle inspections such as checking fuel levels, tire condition, and exterior condition. Support shuttle service operations when required. Help manage dealership loaner or rental vehicles, including inspecting for damage and refueling. Follow all dealership, OEM, and safety guidelines when handling vehicles and operating equipment. All other duties as assigned by leadership. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required. Previous experience in an automotive, dealership, or customer-facing environment is an asset. Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (training available if needed). Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stay active throughout the shift. Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a busy service environment. Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and communication. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. INDCNP Pay Range CAD $0.00 - CAD $0.00 /Hr.
