Kalemi Law Professional Corporation is a prominent law firm focused primarily on Real Estate Law. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Legal Assistant or Real Estate Law Clerk with a minimum of 1-3 years experience to join our busy practice. Responsibilities: Office Administration Client communication Opening Files Document Preparation of residential real estate transactions (purchase, sale, refinance, private mortgages) Communicate with clients, brokers, lenders, and other law offices in order to complete closings Communicate with lenders to request for funds and deal with issues with funding Prepare signing documents Prepare client and lender reports Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 1-3 years experience in high volume real estate law firm Proficiency in Teraview, Conveyancer or Realtyweb and Microsoft Office Strong oral and written communication, organization, attention to detail, and prioritization skills. Ability to work well under pressure and handle a large volume of files Willingness to work overtime when required Fluency in English.
