Dispatch security personnel promptly in response to incidents, alarms, and client requests. Maintain real-time awareness of guard locations, site status, and operational priorities. Monitor Calls & Emergency Response Answer incoming phone calls, radio communications, and emails in a professional and timely manner. Receive, assess, and prioritize emergency and non-emergency situations. Coordinate responses with supervisors, emergency services, clients, and field personnel when required. Escalate urgent incidents following company procedures. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate dispatch logs, call records, incident reports, and shift activity reports. Record all communications and operational updates accurately. Document incidents, staffing issues, and client requests in accordance with company procedures. Prepare reports for supervisors and management as required. Customer & Client Communication Provide professional customer service to clients, employees, and internal departments. Respond to inquiries promptly and resolve operational concerns whenever possible. Build positive working relationships with clients, supervisors, and field staff. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of security dispatch, security operations, or related experience is required. Valid Ontario Security Guard License. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Strong multitasking, organization, and time management skills. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning dispatch and scheduling software. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, 24/7 operations environment. Flexible availability to work days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays.
