Job summary
This is a permanent casual position in Peterborough, ON, which includes days, evenings, weekends and overnight shifts. The rate of pay is $22.99/hr. Full G license required. We are accepting applications until August 10, 2026. DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL Direct Support Professional (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community. Direct Support Professionals recognize people's rights to direct their life, understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs, and they support people to learn skills for their own growth and development. Requirements
Candidates must provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check and have access to reliable transportation. Preferred qualifications include 3-6 months of experience or post-secondary education in developmental services or child and youth work.
