Job summary
Role Overview We are seeking an Account Manager to lead commercial growth for advanced and robotic inspection services across downstream oil & gas and petrochemical markets. This role is designed for a field-credible, consultative and strategic seller who can immediately own key accounts, generate demand, and close technically complex inspection programs. This is not a transactional sales role. The successful candidate will be trusted with autonomy and expected to operate at a strategic account level. Core Responsibilities Revenue & Growth Drive new and expanded revenue for robotic, advanced, and data-driven inspection services. Build and execute account strategies that convert one-off projects into recurring inspection programs. Own pipeline development, forecasting, pricing strategy, and deal closure. Lead proposal development and commercial negotiations with minimal oversight. Strategic Account Management Own senior-level relationships with owner-operators, reliability engineers, corrosion teams, and project stakeholders. Act as the primary commercial lead across assigned accounts. Identify and execute opportunities to replace traditional inspection approaches with higher-coverage robotic solutions. Technical & Market Expertise Clearly articulate the value of robotic inspection, screening programs, corrosion mapping, and analytics. Maintain strong working knowledge of API inspection frameworks (API 570, 510, 653) and common NDT methods. Support client demonstrations and proof-of-concept deployments as needed. Market Intelligence & Reporting Track competitor activity, market trends, and customer demand. Provide feedback to leadership to inform service development and go-to-market strategy. Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and reporting. Required Experience & Qualifications 7-10+ years in oil & gas inspection, integrity, or technical services sales. Strong downstream experience (refineries, petrochemical plants, terminals). Demonstrated success selling API, NDT, MI, or advanced inspection services. Consultative and Strategic Sales experience Established industry relationships strongly preferred. Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets. Highly self-directed, accountable, and comfortable operating autonomously. CRM-literate with strong forecasting discipline.
