Family Lawyer Opportunity | Full-Time | Toronto, Ontario Kazandji Law is a growing firm committed to practical legal advice, strong advocacy, and attentive client service. We take a direct, proactive approach to family law matters, helping clients pursue their objectives through negotiation, mediation, and litigation. About the Role We are seeking a family lawyer with at least 3 years of family law experience for a full-time, on-site position in Toronto. The successful candidate will manage files independently, communicate clearly with clients, and confidently represent them in negotiations and court proceedings. Responsibilities Manage family law files from initial consultation through settlement or trial. Advise on separation, divorce, parenting arrangements, child and spousal support, property division, and domestic contracts. Draft pleadings, affidavits, conference briefs, factums, motion materials, and agreements. Represent clients at conferences, motions, hearings, trials, and mediations. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties. Maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and provide clear, practical advice throughout each matter. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of family law experience. Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Experience before the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice. Strong legal research, drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple files independently and exercise sound professional judgment. Professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity when supporting clients through difficult circumstances. Trial experience is strongly preferred.
