The Opportunity Meridia Recruitment is proud to partner with Fortis Inc. in the search for an Executive Assistant to provide proactive support to a portfolio of senior leaders, managing complex calendars, travel, executive communications, meeting logistics, stakeholder coordination, and follow-up activities to help leaders stay focused on strategic priorities. This role serves as a trusted partner to executives by helping to manage competing demands, maintaining visibility into commitments, coordinating among stakeholders, and following through on important actions. Success requires sound judgment, discretion, and the confidence to keep priorities moving. What You Will Do: Executive coordination and calendar management. Manage competing priorities across multiple executives, making informed decisions regarding scheduling, stakeholder access, and time allocation. Travel and expense management. Coordinate domestic and international travel, manage itinerary changes and travel disruptions, prepare expenses, and liaise with travel providers and vendors. Executive communications and follow-up. Support executive correspondence and communication workflows, assist with prioritization of meeting requests and key communications, and support mailbox triage where required. Action tracking and commitments. Track commitments, action items, deadlines, and deliverables, provide reminders, and coordinate follow-up with internal and external stakeholders. Meetings and stakeholder coordination. Coordinate and/or support executive meetings, functions, and events; this may include presentations, leadership materials, and follow-up activities. Cross-enterprise relationship management Build strong relationships across Fortis, external partners, and executive support teams to help information, decisions, and priorities move smoothly across the organization. Continuous improvement and administrative excellence. Use Microsoft 365 tools and process improvements to reduce manual effort and create consistent, effective executive support practices. What You Bring: Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders or executives, including managing complex calendars, travel, expenses, meetings, competing priorities, and multiple executives at the same time. Strong judgment, discretion, follow-through, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate executive needs and competing priorities. Strong relationship-building skills across executives, EAs, employees, external stakeholders, and vendors. Comfort working independently in a dynamic executive environment. Strong Microsoft 365 capability and willingness to leverage AI-enabled tools and practical process improvements. Ability to manage stakeholder relationships across a geographically dispersed and highly collaborative organization.
