Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and in the building construction industry. Candidates must be proficient communicating in English. We are looking for an individual that possesses a strong work ethic, is self-motivated, highly organized, and works well in a team environment. We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career advancement. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years experience as an AutoCAD drafter with high skill level. Experience in the building construction industry with a preference for those with a strong knowledge of exterior wall cladding assemblies and Building Science. Proficient in reading architectural construction drawings. Preference for those able to produce & deliver files for direct to CNC fabrication. Preference for those who also possess proficiency with Rhino and/or Solid Works 3D modelling. Strong understanding of all Microsoft Office applications. Reside within or near Burnaby, BC Responsibilities: Independently able to produce shop drawings and fabrication drawings. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects. Review project specifications to ensure compliance. Utilize technical knowledge to identify and solve design problems. Ensure that all drawings comply with company requirements and methodologies.
