Job Title: Agile Scrum Master Location: Mississauga, ON (hybrid) Duration: 06 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion) Key Responsibilities Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives. Coach and mentor Agile teams on Scrum principles, Agile best practices, and continuous improvement. Serve as a servant leader by removing impediments and enabling teams to deliver high-quality results. Partner closely with Product Owners to manage and refine product backlogs. Foster a collaborative, transparent, and psychologically safe team environment. Facilitate discussions, conflict resolution, and decision-making across cross-functional teams. Track sprint progress, team metrics, and backlog health using Jira and Agile reporting tools. Improve communication, visibility, and delivery across stakeholders. Required Qualifications 5–8 years of experience in a Product Development or Product Management environment. Minimum 5 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master for software development teams. Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent). Strong hands-on experience with Jira and Agile project management tools. Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and SDLC. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Experience supporting high-traffic, distributed, cloud-based applications. Experience leading infrastructure-related initiatives and driving organizational or cultural change. Experience working with third-party vendors and service providers. Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred Qualifications Advanced Scrum certifications (A-CSM, PSM II, or equivalent). Prior technical experience as a Software Developer, QA Engineer, or similar technical role. Experience using Confluence and other Agile collaboration tools.

The Scrum Master will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and serve as a servant leader to remove impediments for the development team. They are responsible for partnering with Product Owners to refine backlogs and tracking team metrics using Jira.

Candidates need 5-8 years of product development experience, including at least 5 years as a Scrum Master and a relevant certification (CSM/PSM). A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT and experience with cloud-based applications are required.
